12 steps needed

Hi my name is IbeeBarbie and I'm a blog-aholic. I think that's step one---admitting you have a problem. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeck!

No wonder I feel like my days are running far faster than previously. No wonder I feel I can't keep up with everything. Not until today did I realize I visit 20 blogs daily (sometimes several times a day), let alone those days when I might be caught up on everything to check out more.

I'm 65% addicted, which doesn't seem right . . . I must have not answered a question honestly for fear of the truth!! I guess I failed step one - admitting I have a problem!

By the way, I think blogging is a form of therapy in itself . . . haven't you ever felt better or relieved about something after you've written it down for the whole world to worry about? I have. I say, "give the problems to those who are addicted enough to keep coming back!"

I have to go, I am behind in my therapy!

Just took the test, says I am 55% addicted to blogging. I don't think that is accurate though ;)

There is absolutly no need for blog addiction therapy, just eat a banana peel everytime you blog...then you wont be so keen on doing it.

LOL IBEEB, you gotta control your addiction... you seem to be on the right path by admitting it… but hey we don’t want you to go sober though :o)

Salam PH,
Hmmmmmmmmm group therapy? Good idea! Do we vote to determine which addict gets to lead the group discussions? Or do we take turns? Or merely sit around in a circle with our heads lowered waiting until break time, so we can run to the snack table? :-D

Hi Mixed Up Me,
As always you have me laughing so hard I can barely type to respond. Surely in all my excitement taking this examine and knowing recently I received my Lasko Mechanical Engineering degree, I knew I’d pass this test with flying colors, but now realize from everyone’s responses there’s a failing in the testing. Perhaps it’s like the Florida voting cards. Somewhere in my submission there must have been a few hanging chads causing my score to be wrong. Yeah-that’s it!

Salam Lebeeya,
Well, I suppose things are fine until I find Amira posting a comment or blog herself.

Salam Anglo-Libyan,
I’m going to take the darn thing again and not push the mouse button so hard and see if my answers come out differently. :-) I, too, agree with Mixed Up Me that it is a form of therapy in itself………and it’s FREE!

Salam Maysoon,
LOL – Well, we can always blame this on the person that posted it in the first place. It’s always easier to point the finger right? :-P

Salam Romana,
Well as long as I have lots of coffee, very little sleep, don’t look at the pile of work next to me, and agree to check voicemail at least once a day, I think I’m managing ok. :-D

Salam Lost-Libyan,
Well I suppose addicts do recognize one another, huh? :-P I too crave things besides blogging, and one that I really crave often and don't give into is a freakin' VACATION. :D

Hope you get a craving soon to post an update. Yours is one I check daily ---- oooops, does that now make me a stocker too?

I just went to school for over two years to get a Counseling degree and here I am saying, "All we need is blogging!" So much for my future profession . . .Oh well, too much drama anyway. I think I'll stick with the kids!!

Lol blogging doesn't have to be a bad thing. I learn new things all the time and it broadens my horizons...well thats my excuse for sitting in front of the computer for hours on end :D

LOL @ Lost-Libyan,
Well the good news for you is you have nearly a whole day timeframe before I could snatch you up, due to flying time. Darn it!

Salam Piccolina,
Well, I think Fatima summed it up for us----it’s not addiction it’s “education”. At least that’s the theory I’m going to adopt. 

Hi Mixed Up Me,
Well at least with the kids you can steal their lunch money for payment for your counseling services. :D

Salam Fatima,
I love the way you think. 

Salam Ahmed,
We know how you work and realize sometimes you probably are dyslexic, so perhaps you really meant to share you’re score was 75%. Even so, that would still make me the winner over you. :-P Oh that must hurt for the competitor in you. (kisses)
