Anger Management

On August 24, 2007, I was taking advantage of PH's handy dandy Libyan Bloggerator and saw a subject on KhadijaTeri's blog that caught my eye entitled "He's back". From the tone in the post I could tell she was less than pleased with "Mr.”. As many of us do, we can't help but offer our support, advice and/or humor in an attempt to relate, commiserate and/or empathize with our blog family members. So in keeping with tradition and receiving this little tidbit earlier today, I thought I'd share the latest technique in handling Anger Management to both KhadijaTeri as well as the rest of the blog family.

Anger Management:

One day the wife and I were discussing anger management and I asked her, "When I get mad at you, you never fight back. How do you control your anger?"

She said, "I clean the toilet bowl."

I asked, "How does that help?"

She said, "I use your toothbrush."

UPDATE!

In acknowledgement of our first attendee to pass the course!

Another Update -

We have yet another graduate. =)

Salam Khadijateri,
Wow! I'm quite honored that you'd drop by my humble blog - you are quite infamous. :-)

Hmmmmm, suggesting? Well the nice thing about this approach there would be no unsightly marks that perhaps a Bazeen stick would leave. Besides subtleties are nice--don't you think? ;-) No offense to "Mr.". I just loved the dialog exchange you wrote---I’ve actually cracked up over a few times.

Salam PH,
When I read that this afternoon I laughed so hard myself. Hmmmmmmmm, suggestions on how husbands can manager their anger----don’t get angry because you may now be married to a wife that took ibeebarbie’s blog-post anger management course. LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

Actually I'm not married but if you send me a list of all the course participants I can disqualify them from my potential wives list :P.
:))))))))))))

ROTFL!

Salam PH,
Well I was speaking in generalization, so no worries. Besides since there’s no enrollment list to track participants one would not know who has or has not taken the course until the implementation begins. :-P Moreover, implementation doesn’t really start until husband gets mad. So in that light it would be more of a self-inflicted wound rather than not a good wife. LOL

Salam Safia,
That's pretty much what I did too.

My bad I forgot that the wives are always right and the husbands are always wrong ..... silly me :))))))).

This is funny, though it is a good example when actions come back to affect us: Wonder how is the kissing after the toothbrush episode?
